1977 Gibson Flying V
I always wanted a Gibson Flying V because I was a huge fan of Michael Schenker's White Gibson V that he used while he was in UFO. I actually got my first V when I was about 18 and had it painted all White just like Michael's. I sold that guitar within the first year of having it to a band mate because it wasn't that great. This guitar is great and was given to me as a birthday present in 1993. The guitar plays and sounds really good & I've used it on a lot of recordings but I have never played it live.
I think the shape of the Gibson V is probably one of the first guitars to spark my interest in creating unique guitar designs…
